Language training for teams: how it works

Companies come to us for the same reasons individuals do, with two extra needs: the lessons have to fit around work, and someone in HR needs to see that the budget is doing something. Here is how we handle both.

What we offer

Group or 1-to-1 lessons for staff in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Ukrainian, at all levels from A1 to C2. Lessons are live, online, with native-speaker tutors, scheduled around working hours any day from 7:00 to 22:00 UK time.

How it starts

You tell us the number of learners, the language or languages, and the goal, for example "our support team needs to handle calls in German" or "three managers moving to the Madrid office". Every learner takes the free placement test, and we form groups of people at the same level or set up 1-to-1 lessons where goals differ too much to share a class.

One contract, monthly invoicing

A single agreement covers the whole team, with one invoice a month. You do not manage individual payments or packs.

What HR receives

A monthly progress report for each group or learner: attendance, what was covered and the tutor's assessment of progress. At the end of a course every participant receives a certificate of completion stating the language, level and hours.

What employees need

A laptop or tablet with a camera, a quiet room or headphones, and 55 minutes. Lessons work equally well from the office or from home.

Pricing

Team pricing is quoted individually and depends on group size and hours. Send the company name, a contact person, the number of learners, the language and the goal to hello@lane-languages.space, or give the same details to the advisor on our website, and we reply with a quote within two working days.

Before you ask

Decide what success looks like: a level reached, a task the team can do, or a number of hours completed. The clearer the goal, the better we can plan the course and report on it.
